ABOUT US
The aim of the IBA as a semi professional boxing organisation is to break up the cartel held by various leading organisation's. By involving and helping small clubs and individuals that have been shut out by internal politics through support and guidance from the IBA.
The International Boxing Alliance is a self appointed governing body. We receive no government sports funding, ie support from Sports England or the lottery. We are a self-funding organisation with stringent medical procedures, which are set accordingly in case of a major injury not because of a major injury. Our primary concerns are the safety of the boxers.
We have many semi pro fighters in our stable and train people from young athletes to accomplished pro fighters. We give our fighters both men and women more choice & contests as our events are staged nationwide in leisure centres, event complexes and halls under the
strict rules and regulations governed by the International Boxing Alliance.
Anyone interested in boxing should go to gyms run by professional trainers and not enter into matches unless trained as a boxer. For more information you can contact the IBA on 01702 338402 |
